Practical Uses For A Bamboo Fountain

Until recently, I had no idea how great owning a water fountain was. I began searching for my own fountain and I came across what I have come to feel is the best of all – the bamboo fountain.I have a friend that got one for his patio and I became intrigued with how much it changed the ambiance of his backyard.
When I first found these I was captivated by their inference to Japanese culture and envisioned how that would work in my clearly non-Asian decorating style. One of the designs feature a small water spout that sits atop a few bamboo sticks and flows water into any container you choose. This allows you to customize the look of your fountain to fit into your theme. Another type is the bamboo fountain spout which resembles a spigot and flows water from its mouth into a container. Yet another kid of bamboo fountain is referred to as a Shishi Odoshi or “deer chaser” fountain. These involve some moving parts with the motion created by the trickling water. The rocking of one of the spouts creates a clacking sound when it lowers which serves to keep wildlife out of your garden (hence the Japanese translation “deer chaser”).
The best part is, with the wide selection of sizes and styles all of these fountains allow them to be used as tabletop fountains that can now be used indoors! Here are some examples of where they can be used:

· Bedroom: Place one in your bedroom to help you fall asleep each night to the soothing sound of flowing water.
